Welcome to the PTA section!

My name is Julie Hagan and I am the Chair Person of the Friends of Clehonger School. I have two children at school; Giorgia in Class 6 and Rhys in Class 3.

The other members of the Committee are Sue Catchpole - Vice Chairperson, Angela Hedges - Treasurer, Sue Williams - Secretary and Sue Bright - Liaison Officer.

The Friends of Clehonger School is the current version of the Parent Teachers Association and anyone who has a child at Clehonger automatically becomes a member. This includes parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, etc. We aim to help make school more fun for the children by helping finance events and equipment, partly or wholly, which falls outside the scope of the school budget.

We have had some wonderful parties at Easter and Christmas, not forgetting the Carnival, Bingo evenings and Halloween Discos.

We have contributed towards the stage (which has been extensively used by all the school with seasonal productions and shows), dining tables, PA system and also this website. We have also raised money towards the library which includes a new computer and fingerprint scanner, toys for each classroom, drinks bottles and class trips.

We try to meet once a month and if you would like to come along and meet other people with similar values, we would love to see you.
