Drop Off & Pick Up

The Drop-Off Zone is a designated no parking/waiting area.

It is solely for parents/carers to stop, allowing their children to leave the vehicle and walk into the school. There will be no parking in this zone at any time in order to:

1. Ensure a safer area with more visibility for those people driving along Gosmore Road as well as those accessing their cars and walking routes to get home.

2. To allow coaches to pick up/drop off children safely outside the school entrance.

3. To allow access for emergency vehicles if/when the need arises.

The Voluntary One Way System will operate at peak times (start and finish of the school day). Due to traffic approaching the school from opposite directions and cars parking on both sides, there is only enough space for one car width, which often leads to the road being blocked. Our aim is to promote this option for accessing Clehonger School thus creating minimal disruption and congestion.
