Geography

Geography at Clehonger Primary provides knowledge of the different people of the world and the contributions made by them for the development of world culture. Such knowledge broadens the outlook of our pupils and brings about the development of world brotherhood and world citizenship. Through the knowledge of geography, pupils realize the interdependence of mankind and develop a sympathetic attitude when observing a similarity of needs all over the world.

Through our teaching of Geography, we aim to stimulate pupils' enthusiasm for, and curiosity about their surroundings and the wider world. We seek to increase pupils’ knowledge and understanding of different communities and cultures. Increase their knowledge and understanding of the changing world and encourage pupils to ask questions and propose solutions to environmental problems.

The pupils of today shall be citizens of tomorrow and the knowledge of natural resources and economic conditions gained by the study of geography will help them be a part of the global community.
