School Uniform 
This will only be worn on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Appropriate school shoes are to be worn. 
P.E. Kit
P.E. takes place on a Thursday and Friday. PE kits should be worn on that day to school – no bags to be brought in.  P.E. kits consist of black shorts/tracksuit, red T-shirt and trainers. 
Reading
Children are expected to read every night and for extended periods of time, choosing a wide variety of text types from school and home. Please encourage your child to discuss the book orally, as reading activities will be completed in school. Page numbers read are required in their reading records, ready to share back in the classroom the following day.
Spelling and Times Tables
Children will be using a spelling scheme following the national curriculum recommended word list for Year 3 and 4. Spelling tests will take place on Fridays. New spelling lists will be handed out on Fridays.

Froggy Maths tests (times tables) also take place on Fridays. It is crucial that children practise times tables at home - it can be done on TTRockstars website and/or by completing Froggy Maths sheets, which will be sent home every Friday (they can also be found on our school website).
